Gaddhoo is an inhabited island in Gaaf Dhaalu Atoll administrative division and geographically in the Huvadhoo Atoll Atoll in the southern part of the Maldives. It is an island-level administrative constituency in upper south province, governed by the Gaddhoo island Council. Gadhdhoo is famous for its thundukunaa. The intricately woven mats are produced from a reed called hau. Gaddhoo was the atoll capital of the Gaaf Dhaalu atoll in 1960s. Later the atoll capital was moved to Thinadhoo island in same atoll.
