Inguraidhoo (Raa Atoll)

Inguraidhoo is an inhabited island in Raa Atoll administrative division and geographically part of the Maalhosmadulu Atoll in the northern part of the Maldives. It is an island-level administrative constituency in the north province, governed by the Inguraidhoo Island Council.

Like other islands in Raa Atoll, Iguraidhoo is also famous for their master boat builders. The skill and ability to produce the fine lines, curves and joins of the Dhoni, has been passed on from generation to generation. Locals travel from all over the country to these islands to employ the skills of these master craftsmen, be it for the building of a simple fishing Dhoni or a luxury cruise vessel.
