Vaadhoo (Raa Atoll)

Vadhoo is an inhabited island in Raa Atoll administrative division and geographically in North Maalhosmadulu Atoll in the north of the Maldives. It is an island-level administrative constituency in North Province, governed by the Vadhoo Island Council.

This island is famous for occasional glittering sea of stars appearing on its beach. This unique illumination happens when sea algae creates electrical signals.
