Feydhoo (Shaviyani)

Feydhoo is an inhabited island in Shaviyani Atoll administrative division and geographically part of the North Miladhummadulhu Atoll in the northern part of the Maldives. It is an island-level administrative constituency in upper north province, governed by the Feydhoo Island Council.

Feydhoo is located in the centre of the Shaviyani Atoll between the channel of Noomara Kandu and the island of Bileffahi. Feydhoo was severely damaged during the cyclone that was hit to the northern atolls of the Maldives in 1821, and it was the biggest challenge faced to the people of this island to survive. This was happened during the reign of Sultan Muhammad Mueenuddeen 1.
