Uligamu (Haa Alifu Atoll)

Overview

Uligamu is an inhabited island in Haa Alifu Atoll administrative division and geographically part of the Ihavandhippolhu Atoll in the north end of the Maldives. It is an island-level administrative constituency in upper north province, governed by the Uligamu Island Council.

Uligamu provides a convenient port of call for yachters navigating the northern Indian Ocean. Today it is famous among yachters who travel to the Maldives and those who stop by on their way to other shores.
