Thulhaadhoo (Baa Atoll)

Thulhaadhoo is an inhabited island in Baa Atoll administrative division and geographically part of the Maalhosmadulu Atoll in the northern part of the Maldives. It is an island-level administrative constituency in north province, governed by the Thulhaadhoo Island Council.

Thulhaadhoo is famous for its lacquer ware. A stroll down the narrow streets and alleyways of the island will let you view the production of these beautiful ornaments in its various stages. Thulhaadhoo is also famous for the island’s skilled fishermen.
