Visit Maldives again

Snorkelling
We originally not planned to visit Maldives last year. So we had no idea which resort preferred to stay. Cocoa Island was recommended by a travel agent. The guy said he had been Cocoa Island for more than once. We took his advice and chose this resort.

The resort is not big. There is one bar and one restaurant. Every day we had our meals at the restaurant. I had different breakfast every morning served with tropical fruit buffet. There was different countries’ cuisine every night during our stay. The seafood is fresh.

We relished a drink in the bar in one evening and enjoyed the sunset. One visitor had reserved a tent. We watched the staffs set it up and decorated it.

We rowed kayak. We did snorkelling every day. The water is so clear. We could see many fishes at the back of our room.

The hotel changed a sunset villa for us at the last day we stay. It was because our flight was at night and there were other guests arranged to stay in our room. The sunset villa is very big consists of a suite and a bedroom, a kitchen, a living room and a dining room. We admired the sunset in the sunset villa.

I hope to visit the resort again. I will join some tour for watching dolphin and fishing next time.

Visit Maldives again

COMO Cocoa Island

Overview

COMO Cocoa Island is an intimate private island in the Maldives, with overwater suites allowing you to slip right into the turquoise lagoon to explore an exceptional house reef. Encircled with powder white sand, the carefree, understated luxury experience includes holistic wellness treatments, South Indian-influenced cuisine and world-class diving.

From its personalised service and sophisticated cuisine to its distinctive design, authentic culture and calming spa, Cocoa Island works hard to tailor the experience to your needs. The resort can orchestrate customised cruises to neighbouring islands and beaches; plan private dinners at secluded locations; arrange yoga, diving or snorkelling; and create adventures for families travelling together.

Simple yet sophisticated, contemporary yet indigenous, and always deliberately restrained— COMO Cocoa Island is a gently cosseting Maldives luxury hotel that reflects the archipelago’s serene soul.
